Twist Yellow Shorties Large

TWIST Yellow Shorties interchangeable system by ChiaoGoo containing 3″ (8cm) tips allowing knitters to make short circulars 30 cm (12″) through 36 cm (14″) long.

4 different sets of stainless steel lace tips in sizes US 9,10,10.5,11 (5.5,6,6.5,8 mm) are included with the set. The tips are solid.

The set comes in a compact, yellow nylon, zippered case as shown.

The set comes in a nylon, yellow pocket pouch and includes three SWIV360 cables (two 6″ and one 8″), end stoppers, connectors, stitch markers, a swatch/needle gauge, heart-shaped gripper and tip sleeve.

Are SWIV 360 cables right for you?

SWIV cables are not for everyone. For some knitters, it’s not a problem that the wool snags fairly as it passes through. For others, it’s very annoying. A lot depends on the tension of each knitter. If you knit very tightly, it can be a bit annoying.

The fact that SWIV cables have a rotating system in the ferrule necessarily generates a slight offset between the cable and the ferrule. It’s in the nature of the object. If this gap didn’t exist, it wouldn’t turn on itself.

The type of yarn used also has a role to play in the use of this type of cable. For example, a hairy yarn like mohair, or a very fine yarn like fingering, may not be suitable for this type of cable.
