This is the beautiful mega wood wool winder by Knitter’s Pride. The wool winder is made of stratified birch wood. It can wind up to 450 grams of fingering wight yarn at a time.
The wool winder is equipped with an anti-friction bearing system for smooth rotation and effortless winding. Anti-skid rubber pads prevent the winder from sliding and scratching the table.

This winder has replaced the one I bought a week earlier on another store. The first winder, although all made out of Rosewood, started to fall apart after two hanks of yarn. It was wobbling and creating very bad mess, so I returned it. This winder is very well made. It is relatively small and the table attachment is very solid since it holds the winder across the entire width. It turns smoothly which helps with steady winding the yarn cake. I am very happy with this yarn winder!
